Hello and a warm welcome to the Dyslexia Teaching Centre (DTC). 

The Dyslexia Teaching Centre is a thriving learning centre in the heart of Kensington.

For over 40 years, we have been providing specialist education for young people with dyslexia and other specific learning needs, making us a trusted educational provider for countless families.  Many children return to us each year for various reasons, whether that be for literacy intervention, maths booster lessons or support with writing for GCSE and A Level examinations.

We passionately believe that all children learn differently and that once given the necessary tools, they can achieve and access any curriculum. Our team of dedicated specialist teachers take the time to understand the particular needs of the children in their care, remove any barriers to learning and instil in them the confidence to grow into independent learners.  We also understand the complexities and challenges you as parents encounter when trying to make the right choices. We are here to support you and help you nurture your child.

We run a high successfully outreach programme in a number of state primary schools and have forged strong partnerships with educational psychologists, occupational therapists, speech and language therapists and other professionals to ensure that we offer the best services which support the whole child.

We are proud that the Dyslexia Teaching Centre is a safe place for children and young people to grow, thrive and succeed.
